Please join us as we partner with the National Park Service at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area to celebrate National Park Week.
Throughout the week, enjoy special activities and explore the beautiful Inkana Bridge that now connects the Chickasaw Cultural Center to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area! Watch episodes of National Parks: America's Best Idea showing each day at 2:30 p.m. in the Anoli' Theater.
Tuesday, April 24, learn about Monarch butterflies from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. during a table presentation at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
Wednesday, April 25, staff will be on-site at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area to demonstrate bow making from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Thursday, April 26, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area team will present a special lecture, Common Wildflowers of Chickasaw National Recreation Area, in the Anoli' Theater at 1 p.m.
Saturday, April 28, join in the Wildflower Walk, a beautiful wildflower tour starting at Chickasaw National Recreation Area Veterans Lake and ending with the Chickasaw Cultural Center campus gardens. The Wildflower Walk will start at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Lake. Participants are encouraged to park at the Chickasaw Cultural Center by 10:15 a.m. and ride the provided shuttle.
