A Chickasaw Cultural Center Holiday
On Nov. 28 (with the help of Santa of course) we will officially turn on the “Celebration of Lights!” Our beautiful drive though light display is free and open every evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., during the month of December.
My favorite event of the season, the Christmas Celebration, is bigger and better than ever! This year we are thrilled to add the Holiday Art Market -featuring a variety of works by Chickasaw artists.
Other festivities include Christmas films, pictures with Santa, activities in the traditional village and Native American Christmas ornament workshops!
Following the Christmas Celebration, enjoy a special holiday dinner and movie! A five-course meal will be served, followed by a showing of the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” For ticket information click here.
Are there any holiday film buffs out there? If so, be sure to check out our Saturday Evening Movies! Don’t miss this chance to see your favorite Christmas films on the giant 4-story screen of the Anoli' Theater!
Also, be sure to join us for our Children’s Holiday Movie Series! Free and open to the public, these films will delight children of all ages! See the complete schedule below:
Celebrate the changing of the seasons at the Winter Solstice Celebration Dec. 20 & 21! Enjoy cultural demonstrations and crafts, traditional games, storytelling, stomp dancing and more.
For more information about each of these events, visit the Events page on our website.
Wishing you and yours a magical holiday season! We hope to see you soon!
