Sculpting Cultures: Southeast and Southwest Native Pottery Exhibit

In 2018, the Chickasaw Cultural Center, in partnership with the Indian Arts Research Center, featured a cross-cultural exhibit titled, “Sculpting Cultures: Southeast and Southwest Native Pottery”. The exhibit celebrated stylistic and cultural diversity within First American pottery-making and featured historic Pueblo pottery from the Keres language family and modern pottery from Five Tribes artists.
