Stomp Dance Room

Stomp dancing is an important aspect of Chickasaw culture. Historically, stomp dancing has its roots in the Green Corn Ceremony, a springtime event celebrating harvest, redemption and forgiveness. As you circle the blazing, sacred fire in this larger-than-life stomp dance, the dancers seem to move with you, creating an interactive display of Chickasaw culture.
