The history and culture of the Chickasaw people dates back thousands of years, as our Chickasaw ancestors were removed from their Homeland in the southeast United States to make a new life in Indian Territory, and is still alive today as the unconquered and unconquerable Chickasaw Nation.
The Chickasaw Cultural Center was created to allow you to immerse yourself in our rich and vibrant heritage, through living history in the Chikasha Inchokka' Traditional Village, interactive and informative exhibits in the Chikasha Poya Exhibit Center, beautiful sculpture and lush gardens throughout our campus and so much more. You might even discover how Chickasaw history is a part of your own story in the Holisso: The Center for Study of Chickasaw History and Culture.
Our goal is to not only preserve our living culture and legacy, but to also share it with the world.
