Ayowa' Garden to Gourmet Agritours
September 5, 2019 -November 21, 2019
First and third Thursday of the month
Sept. - Nov.
Enjoy a hands-on, fun and educational experience at the Chickasaw Cultural Center!
Our unique Ayowa' Garden to Gourmet agritours provide participants with the opportunity to prepare a healthy dish starting with a tour of our campus gardens to learn about traditional planting methods and how our ancestors used various plants.
Take part in harvesting your own items from our gardens to sample and let our Aaimpa' Cafe chefs walk you through preparing a seasonal dish to enjoy using select, fresh ingredients. Participants will also receive a special swag bag.
Tours take place the first and third Thursday during select months, beginning at 1 p.m. and lasting approximately 3 hours. Attendees should dress weather-appropriate and wear comfortable walking shoes.
