Native Comedy Showcase: Kasey Nicholson

The Chickasaw Cultural Center is proud to present the comedic talents of Kasey Nicholson!
Krazy Kasey continues to be a rising comedy star with a one of a kind performance that is sure to entertain with his self-proclaimed "Rezzalicious" humor!

Kasey has been performing stand-up comedy since 2010 when he first opened up for JR Redwater and Marc Yaffee. It was an opportunity he found himself agreeing to on a whim with no material to take the stage, but he delivered. With his first performance under his belt, Kasey gained confidence, experience and additional opportunities to provide the healing medicine of laughter to all. Kasey has performed with comedy greats such as JR Redwater, Marc Yaffee, Ryan McMahon, Larry Omaha, Jim Ruel, Vaughn EagleBear, Tatanka Means, Adrianne Chalepah, Tonia Jo Hall, The 1491s, Lukas Seely, Amir K., J. Chris Newburg, Tony Baker, Sean McBride, Mark Curry, Ben Gleib, Nick Guerra, Dolce Sloan and many other comedians across North America. 
After being selected as a finalist for Montana’s funniest comedian competition four years in a row, Kasey won the title in 2018. He also won Missoula’s Homegrown Comedy Competition in 2017, in addition to being selected as a finalist to perform at the 2014 Red Nations Film Festival comedy competition at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

Kasey Nicholson is a member of the A-aa-nii-nin (White Clay Nation) of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in North-Central Montana. He also has bloodlines tied to the Blackfeet Nation, Blood Nation, Crow Nation, Arapaho Nation, Alaskan Native Nations and Cree Nations. Kasey is from Fort Belknap Indian Community and currently resides in Billings, MT.
He earned his B.S. in Health and Human Development from Montana State University-Bozeman, attained his M.S. in Rehabilitation & Mental Health from Montana State University-Billings, and has worked with the Native Wellness Institute to train and facilitate on numerous topics. Kasey is currently self-employed as a motivational speaker, emcee, presenter, entertainer, comedian, acrylic artist and wellness educator.
