Experience Celebrate the Eagle Day, Saturday, Jan. 10! This special day gives patrons an opportunity to learn about these majestic birds and pay tribute to a U.S. national symbol that is also culturally significant.

Schedule of Events

Anoli' Theater:

-10:30 a.m. "Behind the Scenes"

-11 a.m. Stomp Dance Demonstration

-11:30 a.m. Dance presentation by Wahweah Dance Crew

-1 p.m. Speaker presentation on eagles -Seeing an Eagle by Matthew Sanchez, cultural instructor

-2 p.m. Stomp Dance Demonstration

-2:30 p.m. "American Eagle” (not rated; 52 min)

-6:30 p.m. "Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children" (2016)

Aaimpa Café Special:

-Eagle’s Nest Bowl (quinoa and roasted sweet potatoes topped with a sunny-side-up egg (the eagle’s eye), avocado slices and pumpkin seeds)

Aachompa' Gift Shop/Welcome Center Retail Sales:

-20% off all eagle items – plush eagles and wood carved eagle pens and magnets

Exhibit Hall Lobby Activities:

-Paper plate eagle craft 

-Eagle mask make and take

Guest Booths:

-National Park Service – Chickasaw National Recreation Area Informational Booth

-Live paint with Brent Greenwood from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

-Painting an Eagle Feather class with Vicki Cowger at 1:45 p.m.
