The Chickasaw Cultural Center’s sixth annual Holba' Pisachi' Native Film Festival was presented virtually Saturday, Nov. 7, on the Chickasaw Cultural Center Facebook page. The theme was “A Virtual Celebration of Cultural Diversity and Natives in the Arts.” This event featured 13 short films, filmmaker interviews, a film workshop and more.
Experience First American filmmakers from across the country in genres of music video, comedy, documentaries, public service announcements, plus interviews and celebrity messages from accomplished artists such as LaRonn Katchia, Isaac Trimble, Dylan Merle-Raeburn and Darren Brown.
Dance and rap artist, Christian Takes Gun Parrish, aka Supaman, the band Injunuity, comedian Kasey Nicholson and filmmaker Rod Pocowatchit also showed their cultural diversity in this event through their respective arts.
