Lauren John

Lauren John graduated with honors from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, in 2024. She received her master's degree in sequential art at SCAD in the fall of 2025. John has illustrated two publications for White Dog Press, with a recent publication released in fall 2025. While at SCAD, she served as a producer of a video short, "The Shepherd's Flock," which is currently receiving recognition on the national film festival circuit. In 2024, she was a featured artist at the Chickasaw Cultural Center's Holba' Pisachi' Native Film Festival. She has served as an intern for the Chickasaw Press for two summers and has assisted the Chickasaw Nation Language Preservation Division by illustrating traditional stories for Chickasaw Rosetta Stone.
