The exhibit allowed visitors experience the ancient legend of Ofi' Tohbi (white dog) and the Sacred Pole through artist renderings and hands on activities.

Chickasaws tell of a large, beautiful white dog that led our weary tribe to their new Homeland in what is now central Mississippi. This faithful companion journeyed ahead of the group to watch, protect and heal their wounds. The Ofi' Tohbi Ishto' has come to symbolize strength, truth and honor - everything truly Chickasaw.
